We went to China last summer and really wanted to make it to see the real terracotta warriors phenomenon but just couldn’t make it work out so when we found out the Asian Civilisations Museum had an exhibit here in Singapore it was not a matter of if but when we would go.
Tommy took off an hour early from work on Wednesday so we would have time to visit the museum and then go for dinner and still make it home in time for our old people bedtime hour. Be able to plan this type of outing on a weekday afternoon is just one of the many perks of home schooling. It was perfectly uncrowded. We didn’t bump anyone the entire afternoon! We just never like to go to places like that or really almost anywhere in Singapore on the weekends. If we do, we put our thick skin on and barrel through.
The exhibit is at ACM through October 16th. It cost us $20 SGD for a family ticket. Try to go if you can. The exhibit was smaller than I expected but fascinating nonetheless. They allow photos to be taken in the exhibit/museum but no flash or tripods. Worked for me. I had fun playing with my new camera.

After the museum, we walked over to Clark Quay and ate at Brewerkz. Our meal was really good but the company was better. We had a lot of fun taking pictures of each other too. Next post. The Stunz family 3 had a great afternoon.
