Update: We have since placed an order online (well via email since their website was down) and all went pretty well. Since we ordered ice cream, my husband stopped by to pick up our order after work. This way the ice cream would not melt if we weren’t first on the route. It worked out and we have enjoyed having a freezer full of beef once again. And salmon. And ice cream. :)

I just received an email from QB Foods, since I’m a “valued customer” and all…  and this news just makes me so sad. I’ve written before about QB and what a great place it is for wholesale priced meat and more fresh than what we probably get in the grocery stores. At least we can still order online. I just like to see, touch and smell my meat before I buy so I’m not sure about how the ordering online thing will work for me. I guess the URA didn’t realize how much we enjoyed eating those delicious hunks of beef we got there. I’m sure if they’d known it would have made a difference. Oh well. It’s too late I suppose.
