As I cooked dinner tonight, my gourmet recipe I like to call Easy Black Bean Stuff, I began to cut up bunches of cilantro. Cilantro is called coriander or Chinese Parsley here in Singapore.
As I chopped away, Anna said, “Oh that smells good!! I love that stuff. It smells holy!”
I said, “Holy? I didn’t know holy smelled like anything.”
She said, “Yeah, it smells like something God created for a wedding.”
God’s creation + a wedding = the smell of cilantro.
Makes perfect sense to me!
BTW, I think I’m going to make a hand lotion that smells like garlic and cilantro. I think it would fly off the shelves.
